A downloadable game for Windows, macOS, and Linux

Welcome to Animoria!


I am a combat game designer that had the chance to be able to work part time in 2024 on a dream game : A mix of Monster catching and card game mechanics! 

The result is Animoria, a monster catching game with card attacks and a rogue like map!

All I've been able to create so far is a prototype, that you can try out for free. There may still be some bugs, but I should have fixed all the game-breaking bugs.

In Animoria, you start with a trainer and a monster, and you explore a randomly generated map to fight wild monsters, catch them, and fight the boss of the region!

in this prototype there are :

- 8 Monsters

- 22 unique attacks

The missing important features from this prototype are :

- No evolution

- No card selection or deck modification

- Only one level (so no progression)


I am moving to a full time job that will require a lot of time from me, so this project will be put on hold, but I hope I will be able to continue it and make it into a more full-fledged game.

Credits : 

The Battle Music made with the help of Théo Perek. 

All 2D Sprites, including the monsters and their visual design, were made by Yanniek Klijn. 

Monster cries and some attack sounds are temporarily borrowed from Pokemon R&B.

Everything else was created by yours truly, Amaury Français

Install instructions

Download the .zip file. Extract it, and launch the .exe file. The .pck file must be in the same folder.
